Julius-K9 IDC Powerharness — review & rating
Is Julius-K9 IDC Powerharness a good choice?
Robust and iconic — crash-tested buckle, strong control handle, reflective trim. The score is held back by the fit: the strap can sit high across the shoulders and restrict the stride, a point UK physios raise about this style. Fine for steady walks with adult dogs; for sport, training and puppies choose a Y-harness.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Julius-K9 harness bad for my dog?
Correctly fitted on a calm adult dog for ordinary walks, it's fine. Problems arise with hard pullers, sporting dogs and growing puppies, where a strap restricting the stride can reinforce a poor movement pattern.
How do I know it fits right?
The chest strap should sit below the throat on the breastbone, not on the shoulder joint, and the rear strap should clear the armpits. If the strap visibly tightens over the shoulder blade as the dog steps, it's restricting movement.
